Three spires won v Novus by 6 points & progress to the next round.

  T P Riley are through as Cannock conceded. Same with Reedswood as Pinfold also conceded.

Hamsted Manor 1 & 2, BJF and Tiki have byes into the second round.

Coaching Course.

Badminton England are looking for players who want to achieve level 2.

They have a course in this area in the near future.

Well, the season is just about half way through now and the leagues are beginning to show who is hot and who is not.

MIXED 1

Norton once again look good being the only team not to lose yet.

Reedswood 1 could finish second with a threat from Tiki.

MIXED 2

Novus are top, again unbeaten so far. Close second between Hamsted Manor and Cannock.

MENS 1

BJF 1 top, only lost one as yet to Walsall Wood who are looking good. Tiki 1 second. but lost 3, so Walsall Wood could overtake them.

Norton have moved up to 4th. Getting better after a poor start to the season.

MENS 2

Three Spires 1 are running away with it, unbeaten in 9 matches now. T P Riley lost a close one 4-5 to Tiki 2 last week confusing the issue somewhat for second . Nothing to chose between Tiki 2, T P Riley 1 & Cannock 1

MENS 3

Close call between Cannock and Hamsted Manor.  But I am aware, a few days ago, Hamsted beat Cannock to go ahead by 2 points with a game in hand. I predict Hamsted will finish top with Cannock also gaining promotion.

LADIES

Tiki top by one point.Hamsted Manor 1 could be in the frame as will Walsall Wood with a game in hand.
